POLAR EXPRESS AT THE PLYMOUTH CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Last evening, our family enjoyed the Polar Express at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. The event featured various craft stations, a Santa writing letter station, a Polar Express backdrop for photos, and an imaginary “train” filled with chairs to mimic the famed ride. A conductor (a local actor who was brilliant) arrived and did a live reading and there was even a surprise visit from Santa. Little elves gave out bells to ring, hot chocolate, and cookies. The entire evening was enchanting and fun for children of all ages, and we enjoyed driving through downtown Plymouth to take in the magical holiday lights near the harbor. I would definitely recommend this event for families who are looking for a memorable but manageable Polar Express outing for the family (festive pjs recommended).
